4. Messenger & WhatsApp Conversations
When you message one of our Facebook Pages (M.K. Electronics, Fujita, Fotile Kitchen) on Messenger, or our WhatsApp number 09613-333111, Meta shares the following with us so we can reply:
• The messages, photos and files you send us • Your Messenger name and profile picture, or your WhatsApp profile name and phone number • An ID that identifies you to our Page or WhatsApp number • If you contacted us from one of our ads or posts, which ad or post it was
These conversations are stored in our own customer support system, where our staff answer them alongside your order and warranty history. An automated assistant may answer common questions (stock, prices, order status) and hands the conversation to a staff member when needed; to write its replies, the message content is processed by our AI service provider (Google Gemini), which does not use it for any other purpose.
We use this information only to answer you, to provide support, and to process orders or requests you make in the conversation. We do not use your conversations for advertising profiles and do not sell them. We only message you in reply to a conversation you started, within the time windows Meta allows.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission • Secure OTP-based authentication • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to taking all reasonable measures.

8. Deleting Your Data
You can ask us to delete your data at any time, including data from conversations with us on Messenger or WhatsApp:
• Email info@mke.com.bd, or call 09613-333111, and ask us to delete your data • Tell us the name or phone number you used with us, and for Messenger the name of your Facebook profile and which of our Pages you messaged
We will delete your account, your conversations and your contact details from our systems within 30 days and confirm to you when it is done. Order and invoice records that we are required by law to keep (see Data Retention) are kept only for that purpose.
You can also delete a conversation from your own Messenger or WhatsApp app at any time; this removes it from your device, so please contact us as above if you also want us to delete our copy.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Order records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for warranty and legal compliance purposes.
If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
